WITH EXTENDED REALITY (XR) YOU CAN

XR has the potential to change the way we interact with the world around us. You can simulate high-p

ressure surgical conditions with the appropriate devices within a safe virtual environment and

visualize performance metrics to guide data-driven decisions on product training. Our AI-powered platform gives surgical trainees unlimited simulations, immersive gamification, and outcome-driven metrics to accelerate their learning curve and boost surgical proficiency. With the same platform, surgical trainees can collaborate beyond borders to simulate real-world training experiences with remote colleagues across the globe.

AVATAR XR EDUCATION PLATFORM

ARsurgeon™ is an Extended Reality Medical Platform as a Service designed to improve patient outcomes. Developed for healthcare workers and medical device manufacturers.

The remote proctoring module enables real-time collaboration between medical professionals both in and outside of the operating room. It also helps medical device manufacturers reduce time to market through real-time product feedback, which ultimately improves patient outcomes.

Has a scalable and integrated enterprise architecture that leverages reusability, to support unlimited procedures, multiple user types.

The platform architecture consists of four modules: Surgical Training, Remote Proctoring, Surgical Planning and Intra-Operative Guidance. Surgical Training and Remote Proctoring are completed.

The first training application is knee replacement surgery (knee arthroscopy/arthroplasty surgery) for surgeons.

Developed on Microsoft HoloLens, it is also compatible with iOS and Android wearables and tablets. The platform captures user metrics such as time on task and hand gesture accuracy.  The HoloLens mixed reality smart glasses offer a unique way to provide training simulations for AR and VR devices. The focus on developing an application that can be used to train surgeons on new surgical techniques using a combination of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and haptic feedback technologies result in a more immersive experience that can help users learn new skills more effectively. This technology has the potential to revolutionize how medical device

The purpose of ARsurgeon™ is:

  • To provide high quality AR-based surgical training platform for initial training, refresher training and pre-operation planning
  • To cost-effectively develop additional procedures that reuse components within the framework
  • Improve the quality of surgical training while reducing cost of traveling to institutions with practice mannequins
  • Reduce time to train new surgeons
  • Improve pre-operative planning through 3D representation of the procedure to allow the Pl surgeon to conceive, visualize and practice the complex tasks using representative gestures and movements
  • Improve patient outcome by reducing or eliminating mistakes that occur during knee arthroplasty procedure

ACCURATE TRAINING = ENHANCED DEVICE PERFORMANCE = BETTER PATIENT OUTCOMES
